I have just started the Feingold diet with my ds. Any other moms out there? (Hi Susan)

It would be great to hear from you, and any success stories too!

I know it's been awhile, but maybe you're still checking this...we just bought the book "Why Can't My Child Behave" and are about to start it. Do I actually need to order the Feingold program from their website to do this?
I just learned about this an hour ago and I am really excited to try this.
mamaley;
Thanks for posting! I didn't actually buy the Feingold books at first, but later I REALLY needed help at the grocery store. Spending way too much time reading labels.

Come on over to a thread in Good Eating, called ADD without medication? I am learning alot.
Tell me about your child? How old? How is the book? I have been wanting to read it.

pm me anytime!
i just got the book in the mail and by the time i got it, i wasn't that interested anymore--out of the blue, my son had been acting soooo much better for the past 2 days, totally out of the blue. Even his preschool teachers noticed. (BTW, my son is 3.5 and has what i consider to be behavior problems--he's a sweet kid but threw one too many tantrums which threw me over the edge, and so i purchased the book, checked out the sites, etc).
We had our dd a month ago and dh had been preparing ds's breakfasts and preschool lunches for him, and i hadn't realized but he had been following the diet. All of our dinners have also been following the diet. So, now i'm thinking that the diet might actually be working, because of this sudden improvement! I'm trying not to get my hopes up though.
Still here, still doing FGD...And still refer to life a Pre and Post diet. I believe it works wonders. Off to check the healthy eating thread.
