Just finished Fooshie #1 and could not resist felting it even though I haven't even cast on #2!!! It is agitating in hot soapy water as we speak...

However, it is quite furry when I check it. Is that expected with felting, or is there some way to "shave" it?

Will post pics as soon as it's rinsed!

Ok, here are some pics... forgot to take a "before", will take one of # 2... also, the pics are blurry/dark cause I was in a hurry but you can see it.

The yarn I dyed with KoolAid, was supposed to be a variegated red-pink but I used too much water so it's basically all red. The sock cuff is knit right into it with elasticized cotton.

And the strap will be tacked down with a button.

They are gonna be so damn cute!!!!! I can't wait to see when they are all finished!!!
I may have to get this pattern...

Off to print out the pattern for the felted bag we are going to do for the knit a long....gotta get my yarn and stuff a ready!!!
Kids are just about down for the night....so I may have to CO and plug in a good movie....dh is out of town...so it will be peaceful...


BTW: Dev....you are a tres fab knitter.....

Yep!
You can use one of those *pill shavers* to get the fuzzies off.

You can get 'em just about anywhere...got mine at Wal-Mart for about $5.
They were in the section with the irons.
