Well, I have tried 5 cycles to lengthen my LP with NPC (which worked 6 1/2 years ago for my pregnancy with DD but I was 29 then, a ripe ol' 36 now

). I plan on calling our local fertility clinic tomorrow to make an appointment.

Anyway, what should I expect for the initial visits? Is it simply just a bunch of tests or do they try some things out from the get go? Or is it really just an individual experience for everyone?

Thanks for sharing any thoughts!

At the clinic I go to, the first appointment is a consultation only. My husband and I had to complete a very detailed health & fertility form before the consultation. The doctor ordered a fsh test and went over our options for moving forward. We just finished the first cycle with Femara and IUI and I'm in the 2 WW. I like my doctor, and the whole process has been very positive so far. I feel much stronger now that I'm in the capable hands of specialists. Hope this helps. Good luck!
