I tried to search the archives.....
:
he started suddenly Sunday evening-- woke up from a nap with a fever-- about 100 axillary, only acted slightly sick
monday didnm't eat well (he's at 99% bm anyway) but has started to poop more than normal, but not diarrhea.
each day he has seemed slightly worse except that he's eating better, but fever is rising. this morning (it has been 2.5 days since onset), he's at 102.2 axillary (which can be up to 2 degrees lower than actual, right?), and is acting more sick, tired, cranky.
tylenol seems to help.
wait it out, go to ped, what?
I haven't called the ped, and i don't know what to do....any advice before i go down that road?

I am not exactly sure what to do, but since you say he is getting worse each day and his fever has progressively gotten higher, I'd definitely call the doctor's office and at least get an opinion from them.
I think it is a good sign that his appetite is getting better though!

thanks~
I talked to the nurse at the ped's office and they said i was doing everything right. and that if he still has a fever tomorrow am (which would be >72 hrs) that we should prob go in.

it seems that his last nap and some tylenol really helped. and he just went down for another nap. I think he seems slightly better already.
