What do you do for your babe when she/he has a fever? I gave Tylenol and am nursing and cuddling. I feel so sad for my suffering ds. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad">

Sounds like you are doing all of the right things for a low or med grade fever - what could be more comforting that nursing, soothing and cuddling? Good job listening to your instincts mama <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
Can you tell what else is going on? Are there any other symptoms? How high is the fever?<br><br>
In the mean time, keep up the good gentle work.

He had 102.6 and then 100.5 with Tylenol. I think I am going to try to let his body do its work and stay away from the Tylenol unless he is really suffering. He was just so sad that I wanted to give him something to feel better. He is only 6.55 mo, the poor guy.
