My dd2 (13 months old) has what we believe to be fifth disease. She had a cold and it ran it's course and seemed to be going away. Then it seemed to come back and after a couple of days went away again. Then she developed this rash on her cheeks and a couple of days later it spread to the rest of her body. She never had a fever during all this. Now we are about 5 days into the full body rash and last night she had a fever.

Were we wrong about the fifths disease? Any thoughts?

i don't know those infevtions off hand. i would have to look it up.

but at any rate, i would give the child cod liver oil and sodium ascorbate for any viral infection.

hope things are going well.
