I can't wait to have a huge baby belly**. It feels harder to suck in my tummy, but I'm not really showing, persay. A photographer friend has promised to shoot my preggo photos.

**Feel free to quote me on this in six months and laugh.

In my opinion, I just look like I'm getting fat, but I can tell the fatness is more substantial than just weight gain. Some days it seems more solid than others. I'm not overweight, but I've always had a thick waist, so maybe it'll take more time for me to show.

Nic, I was able to wear all my regular clothes, tight jeans even, until I was 24 weeks along with my first baby! I was so impatient & wanted a belly so bad! FINALLY, at 6 mos pregnant, my belly popped out. And then my DD was born at 35 weeks!! I barely got to enjoy my giant belly at all. And did not get enough pictures.

All my babies after that have popped out much quicker.

lol Nic. You know what else, I gained 35 lbs with my first baby, exactly the same as my 2nd & 3rd, but it just disappeared instantly after my 1st! And I've heard that from many moms, that the weight after their 1st goes away quickly. That did NOT happen after my next babies!! At ALL!
Soooo, maybe just maybe you'll have that 1st time mama luck, too & not even have to pay your weight attention & it will be long gone by a couple months post partum.

You should save this thread so that in 6 mos time you can read it again as you are sitting there with a baby head in your bladder, a knee in your lung, no stomach to speak of, you haven't seen below your gigantic belly to shave or anything else in months, you get stuck in chairs, you feel as if there is 85,000 pounds hanging off the front of you, and you can't reach your own shoes.

Lol. I gotta admit - beyond a bit of public acknowledgement ("Look - we're pregnant!) - I don't see the appeal in getting a big belly. But then, I never wanted to have kids until I met my Sweetie, so I have a lot to catch up on.
