I've been lurking for a while, but I wanted to finally introduce myself. I'm Stacy, mom to Aidan (8), Ashlyn (6), and Kian (9 months). My husband is an army guy, just recently given the horrible task of recruiting.

We've been homeschoolers for 4 years now. The baby is breastfed on demand, ec'd and we also use homemade cloth diapers and homemade baby food.

Hmmm. I don't know what else to say. I don't usually have a hard time talking, but I do when it's about myself.
I am looking forward to joining and participating in your great community. Thanks!

Is your youngest's name pronounced "kI-an"? Just wondering... We had considered a name close to that with man cub #4.

Thanks for the welcome and the compliments! I am so glad to be here among others with similar views.

Kian's name is pronounced "kee-in". Like you're putting a "key in" the door. My family had the hardest time with it.

Anyway, it's Irish and means ancient and enduring. The alternative spelling, Cian, is popular in Ireland, but not so much here which I think is great. It's funny because we thought Aidan was a unique name when we chose it, but now we always here someone calling "Aidan" when we're out.

I'd love to share pictures of my kids, once I figure it out. Is that O.K. in this thread?
