I am excited to finally join you ladies! I have been lurking and learning for a long while now and I found myself with an extra $25 to spend, so I ran out and grabbed Nourishing Traditions from our local bookstore.

I am excited to begin this new journey in eating!

Question -

Where do you gals find reasonably priced coconut oil? I have looked around, and am afraid its way out of my price range. Is there a co-op or something??

Frontier has good prices, IMO.

I buy mine in bulk from Mountain Rose Herbs. It's unrefined, organic, expeller pressed at $28 per gallon plus I think it was $10 shipping if buying one gallon, $14 shipping if buying two.
