Bloody show & mucous plug all night last night after a vigorous romp
Contractions were very sporadic and far apart but enough to wake me up during the night. They've slowed down this morning but I'm hopeful that we can avoid the stretch & sweep and let things go through this weekend, and maybe just kick it into gear with tinctures tomorrow if need by. Come on baby, the pool is inflated and it's time to go!

Not much going on today...I checked in with my midwife who thinks we're good to wait it out. Still bloody mucous show, and lots of cramps and maybe 3 contractions an hour (painful ones) so with my history of posterior babies (and this one is still posterior) I'm doing abdominal lifts during those contractions and will spend lots of time doing hip circles on the birth ball. We're also getting out my long wrap and doing rebozo sifting, too. Checking in with my midwife around 5, she said she can come over tonight to help out with positioning if need be. But for now I'm going to go about my day and be patient.
I mean, bloody show usually means labor is imminent, right? With DS, I didn't have it until I was in active labor, and I don't remember it happening at all with DD.

Yay mama!

I have been having the same thing since yesterday! Contractions all over the place but much more tighter and more productive. Baby was ROA yesterday and I think that's why things didn't kick in.

Baby flipped LOA sometime in my sleep so now its time to get this show on the road, for both of us!!

I'm soo "juicy" today and still loosing huge globs of bloody show/mucus. Things are going on with our cervix's!! yay!!

Keep us posted!!

I've never had bloody show unless the show was well on the road! I'd say it was definitely eminent. Unless...could the bloody part be from your vigorous romp? Just a thought. The contractions with it though sounds like things are slowing moving in the right direction!

Sending turning baby vibes your way!

Yay Em! Awesome news. Hopefully baby is on the way right now!!! Ive had 2 posterior babes myself and i know it can take longer to get things going with them due to getting the head into position on that cervix just right. Lots of lunges can help. Sending good turning and ELV your way Mama! Keep us posted.

I hope tonight is the night!

My little guy was posterior and my MW got me to flip from lying on my right side for an hour, my left side for an hour and then I went on my hands and knees - and he flipped (just in time because it was time to PUSH!). She also gave me some tictures... I can't remember what but apparently they help to get the baby to turn as well! Perhaps you could as your MW about that.
