Ok finally realizing that yes I am suffering from PPD (DH said it about a month after DD was born) almost a year after DD's birth.

I just haven't been the same as I was and am starting to have more and more problems with anxiety/just going out of the house. Some days I can barely drag myself out of the bedroom to do anything with the baby.

So I know what I need to do, I want to talk to someone. Desperately. Unfortunately I don't have any health insurance at the moment (trying to rectify that irritating situation) and we are flat broke but I know that sometimes therapists will do a sliding scale.
Are there therapists/counselors who specialize in PPD? I keep trying to find someone local and am having no luck at all!
Any resources would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks

"yeah, I would highly recommend Lois Freidman (maybe spelled Freedman, not sure) or Vicky Reichert. They both specialize in preg/pp issues and trauma, and they are both awesome. Let me knwow if you need me to dig up numbers..."

and

"oh, yeah, here's Vicky's info from my website, and I'm sure Lois is google-able
