My 4m old puppy had a playdate with a much younger puppy and their play got a little out of hand. My pup ended up with a small puncture wound. : Both puppies were still happy and wanted to keep playing. We agreed that next time we'll break up their play every 10 minutes and do training during their dates.

Anyway, the wound stopped bleeding right away but is there anything I should put on it? I'm kind of at a loss. I know I should probably just surf the net but I tend to trust you guys more.

Minor injuries I just flush with Betadine. My pet med cabinet includes Betadine, Epsom salt, tea tree oil, & Corona ointment (lanolin based).

Definitely keep it flushed and open to drain. Puncture wounds can abscess, so keep a close watch on it and your pup. If you notice swelling in the area of the wound or if your pup starts to act lethargic or not eat, he needs to go to the vet.
