Hey there, I am in shock as I have tested very early for my calculations. I am 9 DPO according to my chart, but I think I O'd on day 14, as oppossed to day 16 as my chart says. Which could mean I am 11 DPO and not that early I guess!
I am still 6 days away from my expected period! I took two tests yesterday and I swear my eyes were playing tricks on me. I kept it mum, and picked up a digital and another First Response today and both came back clearly positive within 2 minutes!
:
Positive!
I told my husband today by handmaking two t-shirts for my sons, that both read I am a big brother! He was in shock and kept looking at my youngest sons shirts that said BIG. I think he thought I made a mistake. I emailed the photo to our parents, but we are not telling others for a week or two.

My husband and I swayed the odds for a girl just twice this cycle because we found out on O day that we got a new house! Twice the size with much more room, and we did not want to be overwhelmed, so we ceased trying. WELL. I guess there were other plans. We dtd 3 days before my calculations of O and 5 days according to chart. Wow!
I am excited and overwhelmed. We are purchasing and moving into a bigger house with more expenses and selling our current house this month. All with Christmas right around the corner! All things happen for a reason!
So...on to the title of my post...thanks for those who have kept reading! I interviewed a midwife at a birthing center a month or so ago, so I could have plenty of time to decide on where to birth. I will set up a meeting with a midwife that delivers in the hospital near us this week. I am anxious to get this decision over with, so I can be at peace about what we do. I delivered Ayden and Mason at a hospital with drugs and all.
It goes against all of our other parenting styles. Mason was born with complications shortly after birth that had us in 6-9 months of panics, ups, downs, etc. He is now a healthy two year old with 3/4 of the normal brain. It was all unexpected. Unpredicted. I am nervous about not having top notch medical care if something happened again. My gut is saying birthing center. But then I think of things that COULD happen and I second guess myself. I will NOT have any interventions this go around. No matter how bad I think it hurts.
So thanks again for reading my novel. Any input, please let me know! Congrats to all the other August mommies!
