So last nite was my princess taylor lilly's first nite in wool. I kept hearing all the raves, and I was FEED UP with how hot her bottom is in PUL overnite. I was at the end of my rope, desperate for wool or motherease AF or both. Next stop might have been sposies and I really didnt' want them on her bum. So after washing her Aristocrat (aka Bad Fluffy Mail) and lanolizing and waiting *2 days* for it to dry we got to try it last nite. She was sooo cool and cumfty that she didn't wake as often, and wasn't 1/2 as fussy!!!!!! I feel like I had *real sleep* LOL. I am in . As soon as I get a ME AF I will probley kool aid dye the Aristocrat. I really hate looking at those icky stains.

I am thinking that since wool is so bulky, that when I get to go a size up on covers I will probley ONLY buy the ME AF now. But I definately want a 2nd wool soaker - maybe something less bulky than the Crat.

Yay, I'm glad wool is working for you; we swear by it! Our favorite overnight cover is a Mom-and-me-creations Samuel's wooly dream. It's beautiful, wrap style so it doesn't wake up our ds when we put it on, and it's as water resistant as an Aristocrat, in our experience. It's also machine washable and dries within one day, even in our humid climate! We don't like pull-up soakers much, but when we were trying them, our favorite was a Disana organic wool, which we found fit better than the Aristocrat. It did require a lot of lanolizing before it was waterproof enough, though.

Wow! That's good customer service! I think they should too, I would be horrified to get a stained thing when it wasn't listed as such!

I'm so glad you're feeling the wool too. It is the only way to go at night I reckon. My favourite is Stacinator wool. So comfy looking! Do you find the ME AF alright? I have one but never use it 'cos it leaves horrid red marks on Luka's thighs. He's a skinny minny too, so I just don't get it?

I've heard of the ME airflow leaving marks on chubby babys' thighs. They just never fit my son because his thighs are so skinny relative to the size of his dipe, LOL!! The Stacinator doesn't work for us at night either, because we can't put in enough hemp and still have the legs fit right. But I've heard many other people love them, so seems to be baby-specific.

Yay, I'm glad you had success.

You know there are lots of wool covers out there (patchwork pixie is one I can think of) that are super trim for daytime especially if you pair up with the right diaper. Aristocrat soakers are great for night but not as trim as some of the side and front snapping wool covers....http://patchworkpixie.wahmweb.com/st...lts2.asp?Sub=9

For less bulk, you can try a Liz's Cloth wool- www.lizscloth.com

I love Ari's for nighttime- because they are pull up style and ds hates laying down for changes- he can stand up while I put it on.

Stacinators are also trim.

I also really like Lambkin wool covers, but you need a pretty trim diaper underneath it.

I have two wool covers from www.monsterbabydiapers.com that are super trim and so cute!

Can you tell I love wool?
