First post ever

I have been addicted to these forums since my sis sent me the link, and have to admit a little daunted to write my first post. How do people get 12,000+ posts??? that is just amazing! What a great community this is. I love all the wonderful pro woman and pro children information on this site! I am not yet a mommy but I am a nanny to darling twin boys that I just adore. My dh and I are starting to try this month for our own little baby. My wonderful, brave and strong sister 'blessedbylily' is looking forward to having her home birth pretty much any day now! I am so excited to follow in her footsteps. Well, lets see what else..I live in Monterey, just got married to my dh in september, we have a sweet kitty named helen and I am no longer just a reader, I am a certified poster now .
