It's our first snowfall in Nova Scotia. The Christmas tunes are playing and I'm drinking hot apple cider.

Any snow where you are?

That snow sure is beautiful.

It's a nice 75 degree day today. Our trees haven't even lost all their leaves yet....seems like fall has just started here. We never get more than a dusting of snow once or twice a year at most, though.

Oh, I am so jealous! Your pics are beautiful, enjoy your snowy day.

It is 75 degrees here as well. I'm hoping it'll be cold for Christmastime. We get an incredibly light dusting of snow (if you could even call it that) once every 4 years or so here.

My little part of Ohio is working its way into cold weather- daytime temps are still in the 40's and 50's (degrees F), overnight has dipped down into the 20's and 30's. I'm enjoying the sunshine and relative dryness. We are due for rain early next week and possible snow by Thanksgiving!

We've had snow for quite a while. It actually rained a bit last night, but not enough to wash the snow away. We've had a few days down close to zero (F), with windchills well below.

We're supposed to get rain next week. There was flooding last week. According to the locals, it's 50/50 whether or not we'll have snow for Christmas.

It doesn't snow where I live, but we're enjoying a cozy rainy day -- we had cinnamon rolls and tea for breakfast and are hanging around in our jammies playing and doing little home projects. :)

We've got about 6 inches. It started Friday and has only stopped for a few hours here and there. My kids and dogs have had a blast, but I'm dreading work tomorrow.

Unfortunately, we got our first snowfall last month.

We had our first snow fall a few weeks back. Very unusual to see snow this early in the year and I wonder what that means for the coming winter. I am in TN.

We just had our first snow as well, and the first sub-zero cold front, in Vancouver, BC. Usually the normal temp should be 7 - 8 C above right now. I think the city crews were very relieved it happened on a weekend. (It's mostly melted already.)

This is a La Nina year so it's supposed to be colder than usual. But that doesn't always happen.

That's why we moved away from Northwestern Ontario. Last February/March dh and I were complaining about the weather and came to the conclusion that we just couldn't stand it any longer. Too many insanely low temps for my liking.

I hear ya limette! But unfortunately we can't really afford to move and much of our family is here. (the rest is in the fraser valley of BC and it's just too expensive to live there)
