I nursed Lelani and Trinity together for the first time. Lelani would hold Trinity's hand and pet her gentley on her back. Then later on I tryed nursing Rosie and Trinty together. Rosie was sooo sweet to Trinity. She helped Trinity latch on aand said,"Tinity,I share my num nums with you."<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/luxlove.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="throb"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/heartbeat.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="heartbeat">

This is a wonderful story, and I'm so encouraged to hear it!<br><br>
My baby is due in about 6 weeks, and my 2.5 DD is still nursing a few times per day (about 30 seconds at a time <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> )... I CAN'T WAIT to see the two of them interact. DD talks about it all the time.<br>
I really hope nursing DS will be a smooth as nursing DD was... and that tandem nursing goes well for us.<br><br>
Thanks so much for sharing! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
Any advice for the first few weeks? I've heard that's the most difficult time - the transitioning from one to two, both for Mom & babies...

YES SOME ADVICE . If you are nursing the baby and DD wants to join ALWAYS say yes. Because I nurse DD1 and DD2 together there is such a strong bond between them . As your second DC gets older your DD will learn to love and appreciate him/her. It pays off to see your children bonding so strongley together. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
