First of all, I am not very educated about vaccines and would like to know more. So any resources you can give me that says WHAT my child will be receiving and maybe the pros and cons of getting the vaccination.

Secondly, How do you go about not vaxxing? I just am a little confused... Don't you have to have certain vaccines to go attend public school? What complications arise when a child is not vaxed? What happens if the child gets something that could have been prevented?

I am basically ignorant about all of it, and would like any input/experiences!
This is my first child and I just want to make the best decisions possible... thank ya!

Not unless you live in WV or MS; you just get a religious or philosophical exemption...see my siggy:.

Complications, from what? Make sure they are fed well, watered, rested and keep some CLO and SA in the cabinet. You can treat a VAD; vax reactions, not so much.

You treat them, like you would for any other illness.

Though whether or not the VAD could have been prevented is debatable, and even if it can, at what cost to the child's health?

I should have been more specific.... any complications. Not just medical.

So if i dont vax than thats it, there is nothing else that needs to be done or there are no complications with school or anything else?
