I need to order some covers for when I order my CPF. I have a friend who offered to make me some fleece covers fairly cheap, but I havent heard much about fleece covers or the combo of both.

THought, Ideas, opinions??

We use a combo of snappied/pinned prefold and a stacinator or homemade 2 layer fleece cover at night. They work great for us. Too bulky for the daytime. My dd is a moderate wetter at night...HTH

We use fleece covers and wraps during the day with our pf and flats. I have a couple doodlebottom windpro wraps and a Red Rap. I have tried them for longer naps and they were just a bit damp. I should have put a doubler in the pf and I would have been fine.

Fleece covers were my first cover purchase!! I really liked mine, but I agree-they might be a little too bulky for day time use, unless they are under a sleeper or something.

It is bulky, but I think thats mostly because of the fleece. Great for nighttime, which makes me think thats what Im going to use tonight on the kids.

I use CPFs with my ds's Stacinator. I just tri-fold it, even though people say you need to snappi or pin.

We use exclusively snappi'd PFs and we love fleece...we wear it all the time (well, when we're not in wool

) but I change often...

I love fleece covers for our prefolds! The best part is they can go in the washing machine, unlike our wool soakers. I try to use fitteds with wool, but use fleece with our prefolds because for some reason we always end up with poopy leaks with our prefolds.
