Ok Ladies,

I am feeling good about getting all of that pissing and moaning out. Now we need to balance it. I know the struggle of doing almost anything in our first trimester. We also know that excercise and things like that make us feel better. So I vote we make some personal goals here, to make ourselves feel better.

I personally and going to:
-Exercise daily, even if it just a 20 minutes walk
-Stretch at least 1 time daily
-Enroll in prenatal yoga for my second trimester

I figure that even if I am tired and sick I can still stretch!

Anyone else?

Once dh deploys, which is soon, I will start walking each evening, or most evenings. I have a friend who is walking every evening and I know it would be good for me. Until dh leaves, all bets are off. I'm enjoying my time with him.

I don't blame ya! Get in all that time while you can. Thoughts with you when he leaves, and with him on a speedy and safe return. Hats off to both of you.

After a month off, I made it back to the gym last week to do weights and went for a long cycle with DD on the weekend. Felt good.

This week I'm going to try to hit the gym 3 times because I need to start training. I'm hoping to still manage to run/walk my leg in the marathon relay in mid - June!

Exercise, especially if it's outdoors, does make me feel better (although more tired earlier in the evening).

I am starting to feel better! I'm not needing naps every day anymore...just maybe every third day. My plans are to go back to yoga as soon as my doc clears me at our appt. in two weeks, and I'll be just about in my 2nd tri then.

Until then, I'm doing some yoga stretches every day, just not the whole routine yet. Eating more veggies, yay! Also started practicing my violin again which feels great. (This is outside of regular rehearsals...I play most days but if I don't play by myself too it's easy to start playing out of tune and not know!)
