I dont know where the rest of u r from,but in southern maine there is an awful flu going around. They say its quite dangerous, runny, stuffy nose, throat hurts bad, achy all over, sinuses, u name it. I am scheduled to get the flu shot and so is my 1.5 year old. Any one offer any info good or bad. Anything will be a help, Thanks.

Go to the vaccine board here on Mothering and have a read.
I would rather take my chances of getting the flu than ever getting a shot for it. Used to work in a grocery store, come flu season I had so many people come through my line with terrble cases of the flu, pretty much every one of those pople told me "I'm not supposed to have the flu cause I had the flu shot." We live in a small town (3,500), so that leads me to beleive the vaccine is very ineffective.
