Anyone have research from credible sources regarding risks of the flu vaccine? They have to be mainstream-ish as my husband is very pro-vax (& we're currently having a little disagreement about risk vs. benefit of the flu vax). Thanks!

Are you interested in efficacy?

Any autoimmune issues in your family? Asthma?

Lastly - I think the issue with the flu is that it can sometimes turn into pneumonia. You could get a pneumoccoal vax, which is much longer lasting than the flu shot. Ask your hcp what he/she thinks.

Yes, mostly interested in efficacy. Luckily, after further discussion DH agreed that because my son had a (mild) vaccine reaction to his last shot (not flu) a few years ago, he's not pushing it for the kiddo. But he wants us adults to get it. And he'll possibly want our youngest to get it eventually.

But no autoimmune issues. No asthma. All healthy.
