I got my dipes yesterday...I am so excited!: I am in the process of washing them but I have a long time to wait to use them because I am not due untill april. I just got some fitted dipes and I am buying in pieces to reduce the shock to DH. I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of mamas use this technique! (Including me!)

Congrats, it is so fun to wash them and see how they fluff up, too bad you have to wait until April to try them on a babe!

I am dying to try them. I actually just learned of their existance a few days ago on the "what's your fav dipe" thread and now I am very curious. That price tag, thought! Wow! Those and snap-ez...want to try both but for the cost I may not be able to unless used.

FWIW, I greatly prefer my fuzzibunz over the snap-EZ. Actually I've been thinking of selling the 3 medium snap-EZ's I've got, just haven't gotten organized to do so yet. They're cute colors/patterns, but they're the pockets I leave to the very last when all my other ones are already dirty. Even then I scrounge through the diaper bags just in case I've got something else I've forgotten about to avoid using them.

The style & fabrics between the 2 brands are very similar, but on the leg holes the inside fleece of the fuzzibunz comes out far enough that it covers where the elastic hits the leg. On the snap-EZ's the PUL cover and/or the seam between the PUL cover and the inside fleece is sitting against the baby's leg. Result: Snap-EZ leaves leg-hole imprints on her thighs whereas Fuzzibunz do not. I've tried different snap settings & it doesn't make any difference. To my touch the fuzzibunz has a softer leg hole than the snap-EZ. Now, I realize this is not the end of the world by any means but one of the reasons I went to cloth was provide the ultimate in luxury for my little girl!

I'm wondering if I wouldn't like the low rise. When dd was about to outgrow the small FBs they started to roll inward on her tummy, making a huge diaper bulge in the front, and now the mediums are doing the same. It drives me insane! I'm thinking of trying a bunch of new dipes. I just ordered three different fitted, and a BG AIO to try.
