I have yarn! It is being called the angry yarn since it was a PITA. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br><a href="http://www.nistockfarms.com/handspinning-spindle-kit.html" target="_blank">So it started as the orange in this kit</a>. This is the true color...my pictures make it look more brown. There is red undertones and oddly enough white in there.<br><br><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Lizabethian/Knitting%20and%20sewing/Handspun/Orangesingles.jpg" target="_blank">Then it became singles.</a> Ahhh, the start of the anger. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Lizabethian/Knitting%20and%20sewing/Handspun/Badyarn.jpg" target="_blank">This is the chunk I hacked out.</a> See the anger?<br><br><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/Lizabethian/Knitting%20and%20sewing/Handspun/Orangeyarn.jpg" target="_blank">And finally... the yarn.</a><br><br>
I go back and forth between being pleased with the result and wanting to toss the ball into my washer. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

It looks great! Think of removing the bad yarn as culling the herd- your finished yarn looks very nice and even <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">. Don't toss it in the washer!

I agree with the pp....from what I can see, it looks pretty even. Not bad for first yarn <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

I think it looks fabulous! I'd seriously buy something like that. Now, just make several skiens of it and then you can sell it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> I laugh mainly at myself because I think it would take FOREVER to make enough to sell. Now I know why people charge so much for handspun yarn.
