Thank you. That was a very sweet thing to say!
I pulled my waistband from this sock pattern (ravelry link). It's very similar to this hat pattern as well (also on my to-do list). I'm visually creative, but alas, I completely lack the mathematical skills to work from scratch, so I often use multiple pattern pieces.

Absolutely adorable!

I have to admit that we are a sposie family but I've been thinking lately that soakers are just way too adorable not to put on my children. Do you think that there are many sposie babies out there that wear soakers for looks?

Again, those are just stunningly adorable--better than Hanna, I'd say. You are really giving me a lot of "out of the box" ideas, lately!

I wouldn't say there are "many" sposie babies wearing soakers, but I definitely know there are some! I think it would be practical, too, especially at night. I remember sposies did leak on occasion and the wool soaker would be great to have over top of it!

I'm glad to give ideas. I figure if we're going to spend hours making it anyway, why not embellish it a bit too?

Thank you. I do actually squeal when I see knitted things that take my fancy. I've made my own babies cry while nak'ing.

The leaf edging is actually really fast. This second pair is just zipping along for me.

Thank you. Her sister (3.5) is already demanding that I make her a big soaker. I told her that she used to have nice soakers, and that I'm making her some socks right now, but she's harping on the soaker.
