I am new to the knitting section on MDC, but am I correct that FO is finished object? I was so excited to see the toasty topper yesterday that I started one after the kids went to bed. I was able to knit and read stories to my boys this afternoon and I managed to finish it already. It really is a quick project, very satisfying IMO. especially since I have a naked Waldorf baby who needs clothes and I have no pattern and I am procrastinating.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...at001Small.jpg

Thanks everyone,
My mama taught me to knit when I was 6. Dh really likes the baby's hat so i am going to alter the pattern and make him one too. I was supposed to make him the "binary" scarf for christmas, but ds1 got into my knitting bag. He is obsessed with yarn and spreading it everywhere to "make a circus" so, what was the beginnings of that scarf became a mess and the toasty topper. I'll use the rest of the scarf yarn to make dh a binary toasty topper. first I think ds's baby needs an outfit.

LoL . . . when I read the title of this thread I was like, "Does she mean the Toasty Topper that *just* came out in Knitty or is there another Toasty Topper I don't know about??" Whoa, sister, that was lightning quick. And it came out beautifully! I can't wait to knit one up!
