What does that actually mean?

Got a call from our doc today that the eeg my son had done a few weeks ago shows focal slowing in the right posterior. I've googled it and can't really find any specific answers.

A. What does the right posterior control?
B. I know that focal slowing can mean that a seizure has occurred or that brain injury or tumor may be present. But does it mean anything specific in this area of the brain?
C. Would this be consistent with any neuro-degenerative or genetic disorders?

Nervous mama, here.

Thanks.
