Hi!

I am sure this has been posted before! Does anyone have a link for folding instructions for some of the "easier" Waldorf window stars??

I just bought some beautiful ones from Etsy, but I want to try to make my own. I am VERY artistically challenged, so I need an easy pattern to start with!

Cool! That's my blog- let me know if you have any questions. I have never tried the super-complicated ones. My twin sister (who I blog with) has made some of the "rose window" type stars, let me know if you would like a tutorial for those as well.

Yes, please! I'd love to see a tuturiol on your blog. I'm new to blogs, so I don't comment much, but yours is in my favorites and I've tried your simple tute and I have rainbow stars on my dining room and front door now! Too fun!

we love the rose window ones. we do those and then the ones in 'crafts through the year' the square stars.

I love these. You can always spot a Waldorf family by looking for tissue paper stars in the window!

Is there a certain meaning behind the stars?
I hear some only put them up in winter, and some like to have various colors up for other holidays. I'd love to know more about them.

I found kite paper to make the Waldorf folding stars at www.fairhaventoygarden.com. They have lots of other great Waldorf art supplies and toys too!
