It could be that you've always had a mild allergy and pregnancy somehow kicked it up a notch. I never thought I had any food allergies, but since having babies, I've discovered allergies to milk, soy, tree nuts, legumes, tomatoes, corn, strawberries, and shrimp.
: I've also found that once I started eliminating a couple of other things (like milk for baby's allergies) that other things (like soy or corn) had stronger reactions.

You can go to the doctor, but allergy testing isn't 100%. I didn't test for corn at the time I went (because I'd never reacted to it) and turns out I definitely react to it. You might find out things other than eggs, maybe it is worth it.
