Have any lately? I've been having a few interspersed with the nausea. Yesterday I ate fruit all day long ~ strawberries and watermelon. Today I want fettuccine alfredo.

I don't know about too many cravings, per se - but the only things that were palatable to me for a week and half or so were very carb-y foods. Yesterday I ate a lot of yogurt with kashi golean crunch, and I think the protein did a lot of good - I felt on a much more even keel than I have sometimes in the past week.

I have been more into the veggies the past day or so (Yay!), so LO and I are going momentarily to get lettuce and tomatoes for a big lunch salad, and snow peas and beansprouts - I think dinner tonight is pad thai.

Fettuccini Alfredo. I use this recipe, it's fast and GOOD!

1/2 cup butter
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
2 cups milk
6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat. Add cream cheese, stirring with wire whisk until smooth. Add milk, a little at a time, whisking to smooth out lumps. Stir in Parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when sauce reaches desired consistency. Sauce will thicken rapidly, thin with milk if cooked too long. Toss with hot pasta to serve.

while I've been struggling to find anything that sounds good- I can almost always eat fruit. I'm kind of looking forward to when I actually crave or want food!

Meat. I crave meat all the time. I have been dreaming about BBQ pulled pork, which I think I will be in heaven when I move to NC. Mmmmm.... Salad, not so much. I try, but it really isn't appetizing. I need more good stuff to snack on. Need to get hummus to dip carrots in.

I don't want meat until dinner. Although, I do want junk food. Lots of it. In fact my breakfast is a Jimmy Dean sausage biscuit. I have NO IDEA why that is remotely good in the morning, but it is and reminds me of eating a sausage biscuit every morning last time.

Maybe I should just figure out a healthier way of doing that

I want sweet things and I am wondering if that is my body's way of telling me that it needs more fat. I have been so sick for over 2 weeks so hopefully, I will be able to eat more in the next week. (This is me impatiently waiting for the pedi office to call and tell me the results of DS stool culture so I will know what has been wrong with us!).

During dd's pregnancy, I craved really junky food like salami and chef boyardee beef ravioli (and I don't eat red meat). I didn't give in to most of it, but some I did
Tonight I'm fixing strawberry shortcake and fettuccine alfredo.

Meat is totally grossing me out this pregnancy. I fixed a roast chicken on Friday and I couldn't eat any of it.

Anything spicy or salty. Mexican food, pickles, curry, blood marys?!?!?! (I swiped a sip of DH's- then got the waiter to get me a virgin one).

Stop the presses, I am having a craving for something healthy--baby carrots! Just about every other craving has been for something fatty and unhealthy. I better take advantage of this while it lasts.

Ugh, I wish I was craving ANYTHING at all! I'm constantly starving, ravenously hungry, and nothing at all sounds good! It's such a cruel joke, heh. The one thing I have been able to eat is cereal. And chicken noodle soup.

Vegetables are still really, really tough to get down. As a mostly-vegetarian, this is a complete change.

I wouldn't say that I'm "craving" anything in particular, but I am liking sour foods, like granny smith apples, which I normally can't stand raw.

Now I'm trying to get off dairy in an effort to get my tummy to cooperate more...ugh.
