Hi All,<br><br>
Having my dd's 2nd birthday party and I'm looking for good food ideas for toddlers. I was going to do finger sandwich wraps, a fruit salad and some other snacks.<br><br>
Just wanted to see if any of you have some other ideas?<br><br>

We're gonig to do juice boxes, small sandwiches, and crackers, plus those chewy fruit snacks. I don't think you need way too much since usually kids at parties are having so much fun that they don't really want to sit to eat!

My DH did cute sanwiches for DS - bread with cheese, then put peas for eyes, carrots for smiley faces, dill hair....

It's awfully processed but string cheese is always a fav with groups of kids.

Wow, good for ya'll! I don't think I"ve yet to go to a toddler gathering that didn't involve chicken tenders and some kind and mac and cheese.

ah, I forgot we're doing juice boxes too - because our theme is elmo and the boxes have elmo on them! yay, elmo juice! haha.

We did little finger sandwiches with cream cheese and hummus (not on the same one!) muffin cupcakes (organic oatmeal muffins with a low sugar organic frosting) veggie strips, fresh fruit, and whole grain crackers. We had little bottles of water to drink. Everything was organic and delicious. Most of our friends are mainstream and they were amazed at their kids eating so much 'healthy' stuff! Oh, edamame was a huge hit too.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol">

We did spaghetti since most kids we know love it. And adults usually do as well, so didn't have to make 2 separate meals. Plus, it's SO easy and economical!
