My appetite is starting to get more back to normal, which is great. I've developed a taste for sprite which is not something I usually like. Still having a hard time stomaching veggies, though I'm eat more fresh fruit, so I guess it balances out some.<br><br>
I had corn dogs for lunch <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/bag.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Bag"> because that's what the kids were having and I was headed out the door. We butchered a chicken on Monday and yesterday I roasted it and made gravy with the drippings and buttermilk mashed potatoes <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eat.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Eat"> I'm using the leftovers today to make <a href="http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Enchiladas-Verdes/Detail.aspx" target="_blank">enchiladas verdes</a>, which is almost done and ready to devour.<br><br>
I really need to calm down on carbs and increase my veggies :/

i am all about carbs. i have absolutely no taste for meat, dairy and veggies. just fruits and complex carbs. i've lived today on oatmeal, cereal, the rest of ds's cheese puffs (ok, the whole bag, he didn't like 'em :/) and lotsa cuties. what d'ya do. *shrug*

wow, ladies...we're on the same wavelength! I'm carbo loading like crazy. craving and loving fresh fruit (still with the oranges), but veggies really make me nauseated. it's so sad! husband still has to eat all the salad he dutifully makes with dinner every night. it's like he's setting the table for someone who doesn't live here any more! ugh. Trying to get fish and meat in, but not feeling hungry for it. Pork is ok, but i think i'm mainly in it for the salt. dairy: ice cream, whole milk, cheese, yogurt...yes, yes, yes! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/eat.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Eat">

Ohh carbs. I had to conciously cut down because I felt like I was on the reverse Atkins diet!<br>
I actually went and bought some protein powder samples so I could make smoothies with them because Im sure I need more protein and the thought of meat or eggs does nothing for me. Im getting it mostly through dairy.<br>
I am eating about a million pounds of fruit and dairy every week. Ive drank only skim milk for the last 10 years and now all I want is 2% which before I thought tasted like cream!
