Embarrased to use it in public with that big shiny formula logo on it? Now you can get some use out of it and make a bold statement!<br><br><a href="http://paquerette.merseine.nu:1832/beatrice/noformula.jpg" target="_blank">http://paquerette.merseine.nu:1832/b.../noformula.jpg</a><br><br>
Email, IM, or PM me if you'd like one. They're vinyl; my awesome DH cut them for me at work today. I have about 50 and can get more if I run out.

I just cut the tag off of mine. Ds1 uses it to carry his stuff around and makes the changing pad a blanket for his picnics.<br><br>
Great idea! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

Hm. I see them on freecycle once in a while. Maybe ask on yours.<br><br>
I'm glad everyone is amused. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

I have my bag, but I don't use it as my regular diaper bag, or I'd probably want one! I use my bag to hold my breast pump and it's accessories. :LOL Kind of ironic, really.

I have a bag & someone can have it for shipping if they want it (I don't think that violates anything? I hope.) It's insulated, black with a metal "good start" I think (some formula brand or other), backpack style, & kind of cool. I of course, never used it (I didn't even mean to get it, but it was in with all the other crap...)

I use mine for short trips <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/bag.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Bag">: (park or whatever since its so small) I was lucky to get the 'breastfeeding Enfamil' diaperbag, it came with a neat little storage thing with cold packs for transporting breastmilk (never used that either come to think of it!) DH uses the cold packs in his lunch...LOL But that is a cute idea, I think I just cut the tag off.

The one I got is plain black, with no logos anywhere that I can see. It also came with a cooler pack and icepacks to transport bottles. I use the bag regularly for trips where I just need a few things. I also use the icepacks for my bottles of EBM I send to daycare.

I did something like that for my cooler pack from Similac. I scribbled it out and put wrote in some pro-bf comments instead. I wish I had something nice and neat to put on it instead! Next baby, I'm not taking any of their stuff home. I only took it home because of the free books (that, by the way, were the worst load of crap information about babies/breastfeeding that I've seen).

I used everything in the bag EXCEPT for the actual formula. Those little bottles were great for small amounts of frozen EBM (I never dug the plastic pouches). I also used the little cooler bag to send EBM to the sitter with DS every day. The actual diaper bag was used to send prefolds to the sitter as well (she accomodated my CDing until DS turned 1).<br><br>
So ha ha formula companies!

LOL I wish I had one just to do that!! I have an Enfamil bag but it is the one with the storage container for breastmilk and the ice packs.. I use it when we go to the pool or the beach so I can keep juice cool for ds, and I put his cds in the big compartment. I don't think it has ever held formula except what was in it originally...<br><br>
Definitely have to agree that it was full of the crappiest breastfeeding "advice" and "information" I've seen...

A little ot but...<br><br>
Our hospital doesn't hand out formula filled diaper bags. The lactation consultant/ld nurse lobbied to have them removed form the hospital. We get these beautiful, simple, navy diaper bags with the hospital name on them. Not a formula coupon or sample in sight!!! I just recently read a stat that said 90% of Mom's in our community leave the hospital nursing (not sure how many are still nursing at 6 months) and it's rare for me to see a mom with a bottle. I guess I'm lucky to live in such a breastfeeding friendly area.
