I have what appears to be chronic sinusitis of the maxillary sinuses and for whatever reason, I find that the pain intensifies during the evening? Is this odd? Or does sinusitis behave like fevers where it is worse in the evening? The mornings, I'll also have some pain, but a couple of hours after I get up it gets better, just to get worse in the evening. I'm looking into balloon sinuplasty, I guess I'm a good candidate since only my maxillary sinus is affected.

Have you ever been tested for a mold allergy? And do you have mold in your house?

Yes, I've been tested for lots of environmental allergies, I'm allergic to dust mites, molds, grasses. Obviously this plays a role in the sinus problem, but these are really hard to control. I don't know about mold in my house, I do not keep plants in the house and my bathrooms don't seem to have mold.

I'm asking because mold releases spores in the evening, so having an air filter with a HEPA filter may alleviate the problem.
