Dh has told me several times he's having trouble figuring out which soakers and doublers go with which diapers.

So tonight I dyed some, coordinating the innards and outers. The fireflies are green. Crystal's are now purple. Pipsqueak is turquoise. The various random extra doublers, joeys, etc are going to stay au naturale for now at least. This at least takes care of the natural-colored ones. The Mudpies are already coordinating by serging color, although maybe I need to point that out to him.

Anybody else have creative ways to help their partners with pairing things up? (or perhaps your partners don't help w/ diapers/laundry?)

That is so funny (and a good idea too!). I don't have that problem :LOL - I did post laundry instructions inside the cupboard door over the washer JUST IN CASE dh ever did a load, but I have since changed the wash routine!
Maybe I'll have my older ds practice his matching skills as our homeschooling curriculum - now honey, which doubler snaps in this diaper? ... :LOL

My DH would never ever do diaper laundry! He's totally down with me switching to cloth, and he likes to tell people about our diapers. (That they're cloth - aside from that he knows nothing.) He says he can't change the kids diapers anymore because he doesn't understand all the different systems.
(FTR - we only have Fuzzi Bunz, a few fitteds and covers, and some soakers.)

He keeps saying that I should buy 'sposies for when he watches the kids and for our car trip to Canada this summer. Not gonna happen. Sooner or later he's gotta suck it up and learn. Then I tackle training him to do diaper laundry. :LOL

You're kidding, right?? Pair up stuff?? If it's not a fully assembled diaper, it's not happening.

On the washing part of the laundry: thats usually me. I get things started.

But my dh is the SAHP...so once I've gotten things through the washer I usually put them in the drier. But dh is "trained" to pull out certain things that don't go in the drier at all/for long (like the AIO shells or pockets).

Anyway, once things are in the drier, and then part of folding, distributing... thats usually dh's territory. I was just trying to make things easier for him.

I prefer it when my DH steps away from the laundry
Especially the dipes!!!! Occasionally he does get the misguided idea that I would like help turning my white clothes pink though and that I desire to have destroyed dry cleaning items so I do have "diaper laundry instructions" posted above the washer.

Matching up sets though?????? That's a good one!!!! :LOL :LOL

I can't get him to match up white socks!!!!!

Oh totally
T but I just noticed this new smiley...

How adorable is that!!!!!!! Love it!!!!!!

That will be our house soon enough

I have to say that we are in the camp of DH is not "allowed" to do laundry. He has made Barbie sized clothing of my stuff in the past, he is not to go near the laundry room. Well, he can wash his stinky work clothes if he really wants to. As for diapers, I assemble everything for him, right down to stuffing any of the pockets. He has his "special basket" of his favorites to use too. :LOL
