I mean, aside from missing af. Did you have any before af was due? Or did you not feel any symptoms til much later?

Personally, I knew the night before af was due with DS. My nipples got much darker!!

Since I was on Depo Provera and never fully got my period back. So not having one did not tell me I was pregnant.

The continuous barfing two days later after doing the deed lead me to know I was pregnant.

This is probably going to sound strange, but about 24 hours after the bd that produced ds, I had a truly horrendous migraine that sent me to the er begging for demerol (which I recieved). [Note: My mother said she got a migraine with each of her conceptions, within 48 hours. Weird family thing, perhaps.]
The next day, I opened a can of Diet Coke and it tasted unbelieveably bad; I thought that I'd picked up an old can and got a new one instead. When that one tasted bad, I thought it was the refridgerator. I actually opened about 12 cans that day, and took about a sip of each before I decided that I just didn't want it anymore.
The next day, I took a nap. Well, that's not exactly true.. I passed out in the middle of a conversation. :LOL And the day after that, I awoke feeling like I was going to toss my cookies.
Funny thing is, as the time passed, I felt sure that something was horribly wrong with me. In the back of my mind, I knew I might be pregnant, but something didn't seem quite right to me. My mother laughed later and said "You feel so awful that you're sure you must be ill; it can't be something as normal as pregnancy!"
By the time I missed my period, I'd been pretty sure I was pregnant for a week.

After trying for months, focusing on even the most minute twinge or feeling anywhere from head to toe after ovulation, and then conceiving my daughter, I concluded that I had absolutely zero symptoms that would have indicated I was waiting for anything but AF. Other than the fact that I was charting and my temp did a classic second rise on day 25 or so, and AF never came, I felt absolutely normal.

But that's just me.

Then again, what is normal exactly? My boobs hurt from ovulation to AF almost every month. I am hoping though that #2 preg brings on some symptoms I can read for a change, right away!

Anybody else have this problem?

yes, it seems that all my symptoms the first time were just how i always feel when AF is on her way over. I was on the pill when i conceived, so i knew really early when my period did not come.

This time, ttc, every minute symptom i am having (things taste nasty, general nausea, crying to sappy music) seems normal to me. see, we'll know if in the nest few days i get in a huge argument with dh. that's a sure sign AF is coming. But then i think, I got in a huge fight when i had just conceived ds. I am just too emotional whether pregnant or not.:

I also felt last night as if i had the flu, but i wake up and feel fine this morning.

we'll see!

I noticed signs before AF was due (and actually tested positive at 10 dpo - 4 days before AF was due). The main sign I noticed was a metallic taste in my mouth, probably at 7 - 8 dpo.

With my first I missed ALL the signs. I was so tired and would come home from work and pass out until dinner, I felt sick like I had the flu, and I had some tiny spotting. In fact I was so certian that I was NOT pregnant that I didn't bother taking a test until 6 weeks after my last visit from AF.

With my second I was pretty sure I was pregnant about 24 hours after we bd. I felt this funky sensation in my lower abdomin. At that point we weren't really trying except for me going off the pill.

I usually have NO pg symptoms until about 2-3 weeks after af is supposed to arrive. Of course, the last 2 cycles I have had, nausea has been my friend from the time I o until af starts. That is the absolute pits!
My nipples get sore and tender when I o, the pain goes away before af is due, and then if I am pg, they get tender and sore again around 4 months.

this is my first cycle trying to conceive our second child. it would seem that our 2ww is over tonight as af seems to have arrived. i think we were way over confident. i thought for sure we had succeeded. the day after what i had thought was our conception night i walked into work and someone said, "you look different today." the same day i was sitting on a swivel chair that i always sit on and it made me feel sea sick. and for the entire 2ww i have been exceptionally tired. what really made me think we'd succeeded was the dream i had of a gorgeous baby boy. but alas, i woke up in the early am today to hot flashes and cramps. all day i've been irritable and crampy. and tonight there is some blood. so what's with all these signs and sleepiness? all the sex perhaps? anyway, onto trying again!

as for the first time i was pregnant, i didn't really notice the signs until after af didn't arrive. mostly it was extreme exhaustion. and then i started to have the sensation of butterflies in the stomach.

When I was pregnant with #1 I noticed a couple of things before af was late. First I was very tired and all I wanted to do was sit around with dh holding me. The second thing I noticed is a little embarassing, but when dh and I bd'd after I'd conceived I could feel a difference in my cervix . . . I started feeling this sensation whenever we bd'd a week before af was due

We're ttc #2 and I have been paying very detailed attention to my body for any early signs like I had last time
