I'm so excited--I had my first appointment with a chiropractor today. I'm looking forward to having her support though the pregnancy. She works on a lot of pregnant women and I'm hoping that if I can keep my body in good alignment that maybe, just maybe, I will make it to term. If nothing else, I should at least feel better! I've been waking up pretty achy for a while now and I would like that to go away.

My husband has been seeing her for a few months and has been trying to get me to go in, but I've been delaying making the appointment because it can be difficult with the kids sometimes. I used to go regularly over 5 years ago but stopped when we moved and this chiro has helped my husband with some of his chronic problems plus she is really nice and didn't mind that the kids were with me.

That's great news! I wouldn't trade my chiropractor for anything in the world.

I hope it continues to help you and how awesome that she doesn't mind the fact that your kids may end up coming with you from time to time.

I've been seeing a chiropractor for awhile now due to a car accident and last time I went I noticed that it temporarily helped my m/s as well!

A midwife was telling me recently that often times after a baby is squeezed through the birth canal they are out of alignment. She was saying that a lot of issues with nursing in the beginning can be because the baby is in pain and an adjustment for the baby can make a big difference. I've seen an infant adjustment on my nephew & it's so gentle you would never know it was happening. Of course you need a chiropractor who specializes in infants/children.

I have first hand experience of this. My DD just couldn't nurse, her suck was weak and my supply super low. at 4 months I had her adjusted....WOW what a difference! It was like I was nursing a different baby. and she also had some problems with her arms and that was immediately fixed too! The first appointment this new baby will have will be for a chiro!

One of the people working there just had a baby and she said that her baby had her first adjustment at 3 days. I plan on taking the kids also and having them adjusted periodically. Their first adjustment will be at my appointment next week.

Good to hear that LM96!

A chiropractor is a doctor that treats back pain. They deal with the spine and spinal deformations. Some chiropractors deal with sport injuries, orthopedics and pediatrics. For more information you can visit http://www.doctorroller.com
