While we were bringing in groceries this evening a cute little kitty followed us inside. We're in the process of making some found posters and tomorrow we're going to ask the neighbors to see if anybody is missing this cute little guy. I bought some food and litter but I was wondering if there is anything we can do for fleas (other than chemical stuff). The name FleaBag has stuck (thanks to DH) so the stigma of the fleas won't leave but I'd like to be rid of the actual bugs. There aren't a lot but I did notice a few crawling on him.

oh he's cute. I don't know about getting rid of fleas on a cat. On Dogs we give them a real good scrubbing and comb them out with a lice comb. If they are really bad we use a proffesional groomers flea dip

he is cute! i haven ever had a cat, but when we got my first dog as a puppy, she had fleas and we used a very fine toothed comb (flea comb) to get them out. Also, i have been reading lately on natural ways to get rid of them. If you run a quick search here you might find some ideas. good luck! if you dont find his family, are you going to keep him?

I'm secretly hoping we don't find his family because we will keep him if we don't. This is the first time in my life I haven't had a cat and I've missed it so much.
