This Sunday afternoon my church is hosting a barbque and labyrinth. Everyone and anyone is invited. If you've never walked a labyrinth before, you are in for a centering spiritual journey. This page explains a little bit about what a labyrinth is--it's ritual use throughout history through it's contemporary uses. Our church is Christian, but any and all are welcome. We are located just off 93, 30 min north of Concord. PM me if you'd like directions.

I got a postcard about it in my PennySaver box/cylinder/holder/what ever you want to call it. It looks interesting. I didn't realize you had a labyrinth there. Although other then passing by your church quite a bit I don't know much about it. We go to the one I went to as a child since when we relocated we are nearby there. The postcard looked interesting, I'll have to check and see my husband's work schedule....three toddlers are difficult to keep track of at times especially in a place that looks like it may be busy.

I hope you have a lot of success with it,
Annie! That's cool that you got the postcard! The picture is actually decieving, because we don't have a permanant labyrinth like the one in the picture. This is one that we set up ourselves, and it has "stations" so to speak, where you pause and meditate on a particular prompt. It takes about a half an hour to go through the whole thing, but there will be free food if you bring your kids! It's definitely going to be a lot of hanging out, and there will be other kids there at times, so kids are definitely welcome.

SubtlyCrunchy, we're the little white church in the town of New Hampton, just off of exit 23 on 93. We're half way between Tilton and Plymouth, if you know where that is. I'd be glad to PM you specific directions if you're interested. We'd love to have you!
