I do tons of freezer cooking. You can freeze cooked rice. It will change a bit in texture. Soups, stews, chilis, spag. sauce all freeze well. I don't care for pasta that's been frozen as it tends to get mushy. Potatoes tend not to freeze well. You can freeze cooked chicken and other meats. I like to marinade and grill many boneless chicken breasts and freeze them individually. I then use them in salads, pastas and wraps when I want them.
