I'll be 25 weeks pg tomorrow and had a midwife appointment yesterday. I'm now seeing the midwives every 2 weeks. To me it seems a bit early for the every two week visits, but this pregnancy has flown by!

When do you start going every two weeks?

Lets see...at my next appt. with my midwife, on June 18th, I'll be 28 weeks, and will start after that slightly more frequent visits. Since everything is is going well now, it'll be 3 weeks because we're nearly 2 hours apart (that's in bad traffic on a Saturday) though I wouldn't mind going every 2 weeks, I enjoy the break and hearing the baby's heartbeat!

With the OB's office, I have no idea, and nor do I care, I may just start skipping thoes appointments, but we'll see. I know at my next one they are going to try to schedual the GTT, which I'll refuse and probably cause a ruckus :LOL Oh well.

But yes, this pregnancy is just FLYING, it's so sad, but in otherways it's alright because I am excited to meet my daughter. Just makes me wish we hadn't decided 2 was it. That's the sad part.

My next appt is Tuesday, and I'll be just shy of 27 weeks, and then after that I go in every two weeks. So yeah, it does seem a bit early, but not outrageously so. Maybe they just wanted to bill your insurance a li'l extra? :LOL

I have my next appt on the 14th (it's actually longer than four weeks from my last so that I can meet a midwife that I haven't met yet). I'll be around 28-29 weeks then. After that I believe I will have one three week interval and then go to two weeks in between appts.

I'll have to ask my friends who are seeing the same midwives. My midwife mentioned that I was 26 weeks (I'm actually 25, I'll have to correct her next time!) and I had actually missed an appointment, rescheduling it a few weeks late, so it may in fact be that she's having me switch to 2 weeks now instead of at 28 wks so that they can bill the insurance for the entire fee. I don't mind, though...as long as I don't have to pay for it! :LOL

I don't mind going every two weeks at all...my mom will be out of school (she's a professor) and will most likely be accompanying me and the kids - and it just so happens that my mom's favorite outlet mall is on the way home, as is the beach, so we'll make a day of it!

Oh, and one of the midwives, who lives about 30 minutes closer to me (the office is over an hour away from me), said that in the last weeks we could probably schedule appointments at her house instead if I don't feel like driving so far. Yay!

I don't think my 2 week appt's start until 32 weeks, but after thinking about it it seems normal to start around 28 weeks. My next appt. isn't until I'm 28 weeks, so I'll ask about it then. Personally, I'd love it if I could go every 2 weeks right now. I love the visits I have with my midwife.

I believe mine will go to every 2 weeks after my next appt. at 26 weeks. Don't quote me on that, though--I don't remember exactly what the midwife told me.

I see my midwife again next week when I will be 25 weeks. Not sure when she will want to see me again. I am hoping not till July. We are just too busy to start every 2 weeks until then. Every other pg its been 2 weeks once I hit 28 weeks and every week at 36 weeks. But seeing as how we have no idea how far along I really am she might just start every 2 weeks now.

At 28 weeks I will start the every 2 week thing. I'm happy about it, I love hearing the heartbeat and that everything is ok!
