I'm wondering how often your little ones pee. It seems like if I don't put her on the potty every 20 minutes (or less), we'll have a miss. She releases quite a bit each time (never just a trickle).

It's funny because she really doesn't drink anywhere near as much as the charts say she should be taking in for her weight (19+lbs at 6.5 months).

I'm going to try (as a test) to wear her more because she tends to not pee on me, to see if I can condition her to hold it for a little longer... 30 minutes, at least. I don't know if that will work, but wish me luck anyway. lol

Remember they do go more frequently in the morning and tapers off as the day goes on. But if it's every 20 min or less most of the day, I'd say check and see if there is a food (you are eating, if you are nursing) that may be causing the problem. If she is FF it may be something in the formula. Definitely check it out.

I breastfeed first then suppliment with formula. As for my own diet, I have NO idea what it could be, or where to even begin. There is no history of food related problems in either of our families.

What is normal for a 6/7 month old?

20 minutes in the morning, 30-40 minutes later in the day, plus waking and feedings sounds about right to me. I doubt it's food related. I had 2 allergy babies. One had allergy pee. There is no mistaking it.

DD (6 months) does this too. I know that didn't help but it sounds to me like it's normal?

Thanks, all! Although for the last week, I seem to have the opposite problem... she seems to pee every hour (or more). I have no idea what caused the sudden change though, but she does seem to be drinking less, and less often in quantity, and less often, so I'm sure that's why. I'm hoping she's breaking a tooth (at almost 7 months she's still gummy... gonna miss that).

However, it's still nice to know that there's nothing to be concerned about. Thanks for your replies!
