I had bad PPD with DS, so I'm preparing to do what I can to try and avoid it this time around.
My midwife will encapsulate for me, but I'm terrible about pills. I just don't like swallowing pills and think I might get lazy about taking them. So I was thinking my other option would be fresh in smoothies (I've heard you can't taste it that way and I drank lots of strawberry smoothies sans placenta after my last birth).
With the pills I'd probably be able to be on them (if I was good about taking them) for a while, but I'd think I'd finish off the placenta with smoothies pretty quickly?
I'm just not sure if one way is better than the other. Any input? Especially if you've tried it both ways.
