hey I know alot of you probably don't like your kids to watch too much t.v. but this is not t.v. It's a giant movie screen on a FARM. playing Monsters Inc which is a really great animated movie (pixar not disney
). And they are serving FREE corn on the cob. Refreshments are 25 cents and admission is FREE. Rossi Farms is on NE 122 just south of Sandy. We will be bringing a blanket to lay on. Entrance at 8pm, movie starts at dusk. If you can't make it tonight, next saturday is The Goonies. maybe I'm a big cheese head but this sounds like so much fun to me. See you all at the picnic tommorow.

oooh... Goonies... you can watch and imagine just how geographically inaccurately the northern Oregon coast is presented... and then wonder where exactly they built that shack at Ecola State Park. too bad it's so dang far for us to get to (we're at the complete opposite side of Portland near Hillsboro).

OOOH! We love the Goonies, and its my birthday! i wonder if they are going to use a censoredversion. That movie has a lot of swearing (which doesn't phase me, but if they are billing it for families...?)

I will try to talk my peeps into it.

this is really great for me because I hate my neighborhood (parkrose) and thought it was entirely devoid of fun things for families and last night made me feel so much better. we used to live near Irvington but had to move because of a selfish money grubbing landlord who sold our lovely little abode to make horrid condos. (when I was 2 weeks post partum) grr I'm still mad about it. So anythink I kind find around here that's at all positive I cling to like a raft. most of the postive things so far are centered around Rossi Farm which is actually quite nice and within walking distance.
