I'm sure this is all just TMI, but I don't know what's up and thought you all might be able to help me out.
This started with one baby, but now my other boy is starting to get it, too. OK, so their stool looks sort of curdled, with "cottage cheese" like chunks in it and is tending toward the green end of the spectrum. And it has been quite voluminous as well. Now ds who originally was getting this is having thick stools, almost the texture of chocolate mousse. And it is kind of mint green. He started with this two-ish days ago, and my other ds just started in today.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this? Is it something you would take your kids to the ped for?
I apologize for using the food references, but I couldn't think of anything else to compare it to.
Hmm...my first guess would be that they have a little tummy bug. If it were me, I'd probably just let them work it out on their own, unless they are showing symptoms of dehydration.
ETA: you might try taking some probiotics or even giving some to your babes just to help return their flora to normal after it runs its course (no pun intended)
