I seem to have earned a certain reputation among my friends here , so this is what I got: it looks like a paper cup you'd get at any coffee store (including the lid and the "sleeve" to keep you from burning your fingers) - only the lid and the sleeve are made from silicone, and the cup itself is porcelain. It even says on the cup "I'm not a paper cup".
Both me and my children found it very funny. Let's just hope it'll be sturdy enough for trips in the backpack...

I bought myself one for Christmas. I use it everyday and LOVE it. And I am such a nerd...I use a glass straw in the silicone lid's hole since I am trying to bleach my teeth.

I went to some parent conferences at our school yesterday and the mentioned cup got quite the raves at the school canteen.
It's a great cup - my tea stayed hot and of course it didn't taste like paper or plastic (yuck). Highly recommended for copycatting!
