Last night I was out at Central Market (kind of like Whole Foods) pretty late with a friend and we started chatting with the checker at the register. He mentioned my belly and asked if I knew what I was having and I said no, what do you think the baby is? And he looked closely at me, asked how far along I was and then proclaimed I was having a boy! He said he could tell by the way I'm carrying (higher) and that he's got a 90% success rate! He was so serious that he bet me a 6 pack of cupcakes if he's right!! So I told him I would take him up on that and come back in August and let him know. I love having random funny conversations with strangers and it was fun. So I wrote a note on the receipt and I'm going to hold him up on that.

What about you moms on the green team? Are there people who are sure of what you're having? So far everyone thinks I'm having a boy (except DH) but that's probably bc we already have a girl. Also, my mom said I'm carrying a lot higher this time but I've seen that could mean a boy or a girl.
Who knows!! I guess we'll find out in August.

I'm on team green and it seems like half the people who even attempt to guess say they think it's a boy. That's just how they feel. No other reasons behind their opinion. The others think it is a girl. I don't really have an inclination one way or the other.

Green team here. We think it's a boy. No other guesses have been going around at all--I guess no one really cares since it's our 4th and we already have both sexes.

Same here, and we "just had a baby 11 months ago", so we are pretty done with anyone but us being excited.

Green team here, I've been having boy feelings since very early on. So we will see! I will be VERY surprised if it's a girl. The baby does seem to be very low, but I am not sure about all of those old wives tales.

Another Team Green member here! DH and DD both think it's a girl. I don't have strong feelings either way, and no one else has even attempted to guess...

Green team here. Symptomatically this one is more like DD's pregnancy, but my intuition keeps saying boy. Yet random strangers and friends have all said Girl.
One mentioned a numerology method: Mom's age at time of conception (32), plus numerical month of conception (10) = 42, so girl... even numbers get girls, odd get boys. Strangely this formula works for both of my kiddos. Anyone else??

I'm on the green team. I already have DS and a few people have said to me that they hope this one's a girl. I end up feeling so defensive! What, if it's another little boy will he not be as loved? DH thinks it'll be a boy - he comes from a LONG line of boys on the paternal side. I seriously wouldn't mind if I had a little buddy for DS, and I feel like this baby is more for him than for us.
