ok,so my dd is going to outgrow her FB smalls pretty shortly. I have to be honest, I LOVE them. They work perfectly on her... I've been putting off ordering FB mediums for her though for one reason... the idea of trying to get those snaps done when she is able to roll over is a bit daunting for me...

So, anyone out there an FB user and can report on this? Honestly, how difficult does it become? Am I better off with velcro?

In my experience, fuzzi bunz become even MORE invaluable once they get moving! Velcro? My youngest DD figured that out before she was one. Diaper changes are made easier when you have the option of doing them standing (something I never quite mastered with prefolds & cover).

My DD is now 2, and they're still my top choice.

ditto on the pp. The snaps take a little more effort with an escapee, but my dd has never unsnapped a diaper like the velcro.

We have almost all snapping diapers because they are harder to get out of, trimmer when they start to sit and move around and also dont dig into the belly like aplix can on a sitting baby. We love our FBs. I will warn you In my experience there is a size gap between small and medium so you may want to try a medium before buying a bunch of them. HTH

I think they are far easier to snap then say trying to snappi a prefold on a wiggler! Then there is the already mentioned removal factor you get when you have velcro! Go ahead and get the mediums! I never used the smalls but I started my daughter in a medium fuzzibunz when she was about 13-14 pounds and it was fine on her.

I have a 19-month old toddler who loathes diaper changes and I still manage to get the snaps all done up before he takes off screaming.

he can also unlock and open the front door but he's never removed his diaper.

I have been very lucky that the baby-un-doing-velcro-issue hasn't been widespread at our house. I've used FBs at all stages, and I haven't had the snapping become a problem. Like a previous poster mentioned, using pins or a snappi was harder as they got wiggly, but snaps haven't been any trouble.
