Yeah, a rookie mistake :LOL But the one woman asked me why I needed this and I mentioned i was going to try to make cloth diapers and spent like 10 minutes telling her how great they were nowadays - then apologized for doing so, lol! She actually said that she was fascinated by this and if I did make one, to bring it in and show it off b/c they sounded really neat!

Who knows, maybe if I get good at this, I could host a "Make your own cloth diapers" sewing class there, lol!

I made the same mistake, but my experience was less interesting. I was directed to the vinyl. (?!) When I explained what I was wanting to do (make a wetbag) and why vinyl would be inappropriate, the salesperson just shrugged and walked off. Sigh. I'm never going to convert anyone to CD.

ALWAYS have a wee cloth diaper in your diaper bag! I can't believe the places the subject has come up and I've been caught without one

:LOL I never could convert someone either.. At JoAnns Ive learned to look even if it means taking 2 hrs rather than ask because Im tired of the "your a weirdo look" :LOL

I gave up as well. Hancock told me to bring some in so they could check it out but as of yet I haven't. I'd be happy if I could convert my sisters' to using cloth. With 5 girls in the family if we each cd 2 babies we'd save a lot of money and alot of room in the landfill!

And I was mad - I'd been carrying around a diaper in my bag for weeks but that night, I was out on my own (oooo...ahhhh) so only brought my tiny purse.
