Does anyone have any recommendations for books that have off-the-wall/simple/natural solutions for gardening? What I mean is that I heard that you can put banana peel at the base of your plants and it will take care of the aphids in the garden...I'm looking for more books that offer solutions like that <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink"><br><br>
Anyone??? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/flower.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="flower"><br><br>
Thanks!

try Organic Gardening, Rodale Press. I used to belong to their book of the month club type deal, but I bet you can order the books online somewhere...<br><br><br><br>

I had a book (don't have a clue where it is now) called Bugs, Slugs, and other Thugs. I thought it was a nice comprehensive organic gardening book <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
